Almond House – A benchmark to the quality and taste

#FoodShaukeen#AlmondHouse

Almond House, has set its name as a landmark and a benchmark to many, given the taste and quality it provides. It has gained immense populairty in past 3 decades and is keeping up with ever growing public requirements. With the second generation taking over the business ( Mr. Chaitanya Muppala ) , you get to see many delightful changes, also incorprating latest technology in making quality and tasty sweets and namkeen. Not just that, they soon are gonna get a HACCP ( Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification which you dont get to see in any sweet store in south India (barring 5 star hotels). HACCP not only ensures to maintain best of the quality but also helps to find out root cause to any mistake in the product (if any).

Not sure if any sweet store gives you a walk through of their kitchen, but Almond House does it. Any customer, if interested to have a sneak peak of what happens behind the scenes, whats the hygiene they follow, quality – you are free to visit; their staff will be more than happy to give you a tour of their live kitchen ( their kitchen is at kukatpally branch, so they can give you a tour only at this branch). After I have taken the tour, I must say, I’m impressed with their hygience maintainence and quality.

Few of the sweets that are unique and I love from here are Dry Fruit laddoo, Pista laddoo, Cashew laddoo (both pista and cashew are loaded with respective ingredients with mild on sweet, which enhaced the flavor of main ingredient) and Badam Ki Jali. Oh, their rabdis are superlicious. I have tried 3 different flavors (yes, they do come in natural flavors) coconut, watermelon and mango – all of them were outstanding and so were their flavored rasgullas.

Their Namkeen collection is great too. I’ve liked appadalu and masala foxnuts. Foxnuts in particular was not just a great snack with taste but also is a healthy alternative. If you haven’t visited Almond House yet or haven’t heard of it, you must be new in town 😉

Did I miss mentioning about Bistiks? Oh, they are out of the world!!!
